About me
Who am I?
I am currently enrolled in the Business Information Technology program at Red River College. In layman’s terms, I'm taking programming with a side of web development, networking, security and databases mixed in.
What have I been doing?
I have an Arts degree with a major in Sociology. I have experience working from home, in small businesses and as a part of a team in a large corporation. I have done web design as a hobby for several years and was recently afforded the opportunity to return to school and add a college degree in programming to the mix.
What would I like to do?
I love making things so I would love to spend a few years writing code and making awesome projects. I'm interested in the possibilities afforded by virtual reality, and also in thinking of ways to streamline business projects. I also have a unique ability to explain complex topics in simple terms so my long term goal is to get into more of a customer consultant or project management role.
